Details:
- Traditional octagon crokinole board with 23-5/8" playing surface and an overall diameter of 28-3/4"
- Comes with 26 small black and natural colored playing pieces and a pouch. Small discs are 1 1/8'' diameter (2.9cm)
- Points on the front
- Checkers on the back
- Made in Canada
- Comes with rules in French / English
- Comes with scoring cards within the rules
Playing Pieces Color Options:
- Black, Natural, Red, Green, Blue, White, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink, Light Blue, Lime Green, and Walnut Stain
- Please let us know in the order notes using the colors above if you would prefer different colors than the black and natural that we send with each board by default
Included with the board:
- 100 grams of Crokinole board powder for faster play (put a small amount in the ditch and rub the disc on it before shooting or sprinkle a small amount on the playing surface)
- Velvet drawstring bag for discs
- Large 20's cup
- Gameplay instructions, rules, tournament and regular scoring cards

Why is this board a second?
This board is a second for one of the following reasons. All of these blemishes either will not affect play, or slightly affect the play and performance of the board:
1) Aesthetic blemishes that do NOT affect play.
Includes but not limited to:
- dent / gouge / chip in the ditch or on the back
- minor printing blemish
- wood filler spot / knot
- obvious plywood patches
- etc
2) Hairline, surface level crack in the ditch or on the back
3) Hairline, surface level crack on the playing surface
4) Small chip or gouge on the edge of the playing surface
5) Small cracks, chips by pegs (does not affect play)
6) Blemishes that DO affect play (on the playing surface)
Includes but not limited to:
- small gouge / dent
- small bump
- rough spot
7) Natural knots in the ditch that have wood filler.
8) Dried out Base due to humidity - includes both the ditch and / or the back side. The playing surface has no issues.

Care Instructions
To clean use warm, soapy water on a cloth. Dry immediately thereafter.
To speed up the board, use Mother's California Gold Step 3 Wax and apply the same way you would when waxing a car.
We love the board but when we received it the customs had cut the box open and cut the back of the board.

I purchased a no blemish board. It’s perfect for home use. I did need to buff the board with a bit of Carnauba turtle wax to get maximum speed on the board but you’ll need that occasionally anyway.. Delivery was fast considering I’m in the UK but the discs had been left out. The seller quickly resolved this though.

The board is beautiful and will get a place on the wall. In addition, one can play it one-handed with low vision which is important for us. Very happy with the purchase.
I hadn't heard of Crokinole before my purchase but it sounded like a fun game and worth a relatively small investment for a "seconds" board. The description was accurate and the flaw noted does not affect game play. I have noticed some inconsistency in the discs. Some slide better than others or they react differently if I flip them over. Maybe the discs were also seconds but I don't recall that being noted in the description. Overall I'm satisfied.

For the discs, what you can do is apply Mother's Pace Wax to them. If you wax your discs, it will make them quite a bit smoother and slide faster.

Crokinole Seconds
All of the crokinole boards on Crokinole Seconds are brand new boards with natural wood blemishes or slight asthetic defects from the manufacturing process.
The crokinole boards play normally but may have a small crack here or a blemish mark there. Or have something entirely unusual about them.
Wood is naturally imperfect and no one crokinole board is perfect!
