The Mountie is a solid Maple and Walnut Crokinole Board. Made from 3/8" solid maple sides, 3/4" walnut base, and a deck height of 1/4" from the base to the playing surface. The Mountie has 4 coats of finish and is waxed and polished. It comes with a "drawer" on the back to store 24 discs. The board also has 4 stabilizing feet on the bottom.
The playing surface is 25 7/8" across and is a large traditional style board that uses large discs, with non-bouncy pegs and lots of space for 2 to 4 players.
The Mountie is a perfect vacation board. It can be easily mounted using our custom wall brackets.
The lines on this board are diamond engraved, meaning they are very smooth and will not interfere with the play at all.

Why is this board a second?
This board is a second for one of the following reasons. All of these blemishes either will not affect play, or slightly affect the play and performance of the board:
1) Aesthetic blemishes that do NOT affect play.
Includes but not limited to:
- dent / gouge / chip in the ditch or on the back
- minor printing blemish
- wood filler spot / knot
- obvious plywood patches
- etc
2) Blemishes that DO affect play (on the playing surface)
Includes but not limited to:
- small gouge / dent
- small bump
- rough spot
3) The plywood is lifting on the back of the board (does not affect gameplay or the disc storage unit)

To clean use warm, soapy water on a cloth. Dry immediately thereafter.
To speed up the board, use Mother's California Gold Step 3 Wax and apply the same way you would when waxing a car.
Crokinole Seconds
All of the crokinole boards on Crokinole Seconds are brand new boards with natural wood blemishes or slight asthetic defects from the manufacturing process.
The crokinole boards play normally but may have a small crack here or a blemish mark there. Or have something entirely unusual about them.
Wood is naturally imperfect and no one crokinole board is perfect!
